   가톨릭 교회 용어 (한.영) :        각 본당의 교리 교재용으로 만들었습니다.

                                       많이 이용하십시오.

     2.    성 마리아            holy Mary           *성모 라는 말은 동양 한자어권

                                                     에서 사용함. holy mother 라고

                                                     하지 않음.

           하느님의 어머니      Mother of God      **성모님을 하느님의 어머니라고

                                                     호칭함. 예수님은 성모님에게서

                                                     나신 참 하느님이시며 참 사람

                                                     이시기 때문에, 성모님은 하느님

                                                     의 어머니가 되심. 성모님이

                                                     하느님과 동격이시라는 것도

                                                     아니고, 또 성모님이 실체변화

                                                     하여 하느님이 되시는 뜻도 아님.

                                                     성모님은 우리와 같이 단지

                                                     피조물이십니다.

       지난 1년간, 가끔 쉬기도 하면서, 천주교회 용어를 한글과 영어로 모아보았습

       니다. "천주교 요리 문답" 의 내용의 순서를 따라, 골격을 세우고 용어를 유리

       알로 하고 모자이크식으로 붙여 나갔습니다. 편리상 37개 항목으로 나누고

       하느님, 성모님, 천사, 사람, 교회, 사도....신약성서의 요한 묵시록까지 이러한

       순서로 지어보았습니다.

 

       이 용어들은 가톨릭 대사전, 미국 가톨릭교회에서 발행한 영어 성서, 기타 교회

       서적을 참고로 하였습니다. 용어를 풀이하고 외우며 교리공부를 할 수 있으리라

       생각합니다. 많이 이용해주시기 바랍니다. 그리고 수정이 필요한 곳이나 덧붙일

       곳이 있으면 말씀해주시기 바랍니다.

 

       또한, 갈라진 형제 자매님들께서도 보시고 가톨릭교회와 가까와지고 친교를 이루

       는데 까지 발전할 수 있기를 주님 안에 기원합니다.
