주님께서 모세에게 이르셨다.

▶ The LORD said to Moses,

“너는 이스라엘 자손들에게 이렇게 일러라. ‘누가 실수로, 주님이 하지 말라고 명령한 것을 하나라도 하여 죄를 지었을 때에는 다음과 같이 해야 한다.

▶ "Tell the Israelites: When a person inadvertently commits a sin against some command of the LORD by doing one of the forbidden things,

기름부음 받은 사제가 죄를 지어 백성도 죄인이 되게 하였으면, 자기가 저지른 죄를 용서받기 위하여, 흠 없는 황소 한 마리를 주님에게 속죄 제물로 바쳐야 한다.

|
|
▶ if it is the anointed priest who thus sins and thereby makes the people also become guilty, he shall present to the LORD a young, unblemished bull as a sin offering for the sin he committed.

|
그는 그 황소를 만남의 천막 어귀, 곧 주님 앞으로 끌고 와서, 그 황소의 머리에 손을 얹은 다음, 주님 앞에서 그 황소를 잡는다.

▶ Bringing the bullock to the entrance of the meeting tent, before the LORD, he shall lay his hand on its head and slaughter it before the LORD.

|
기름부음 받은 사제는 황소의 피를 얼마쯤 받아, 만남의 천막으로 가지고 들어간다.

|
▶ The anointed priest shall then take some of the bullock's blood and bring it into the meeting tent,
|
|

|
사제는 손가락에 피를 찍어 주님 앞에, 곧 성소 휘장 앞면에 그 피를 일곱 번 뿌린다.

|
|
|
|
▶ where, dipping his finger in the blood, he shall sprinkle it seven times before the LORD, toward the veil of the sanctuary.

|
사제는 또 그 피에서 얼마를 만남의 천막 안 주님 앞에 있는, 향기로운 향을 피우는 분향 제단의 뿔들에 바르고, 황소의 나머지 피는 모두 만남의 천막 어귀에 있는 번제 제단 밑바닥에 쏟는다.

▶ The priest shall also put some of the blood on the horns of the altar of fragrant incense which is before the LORD in the meeting tent. The rest of the bullock's blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar of holocausts which is at the entrance of the meeting tent.

그러고 나서 속죄 제물이 된 황소의 모든 굳기름을 들어내는데, 곧 내장을 덮은 굳기름과 내장에 붙은 모든 굳기름,

▶ From the sin-offering bullock he shall remove all the fat: the fatty membrane over the inner organs, and all the fat that adheres to them,

두 콩팥과 거기에 있는 허리께의 굳기름, 그리고 콩팥을 떼어 낼 때 함께 떼어 낸 간에 붙은 것이다.

|
▶ as well as the two kidneys, with the fat on them near the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which he must sever above the kidneys.

|
사제는 그것들을 친교 제물이 된 소에서 들어낼 때처럼 들어내어, 번제 제단 위에서 살라 연기로 바친다.

|
|
|
▶ This is the same as is removed from the ox of the peace offering; and the priest shall burn it on the altar of holocausts.
|

그 황소의 가죽과 모든 살, 머리와 다리, 내장과 똥,

▶ The hide of the bullock and all its flesh, with its head, legs, inner organs and offal,
|
|

|
곧 그 황소의 나머지는 모두 진영 밖 깨끗한 곳에 있는, 재를 쌓아 두는 정결한 곳으로 내다가 장작불 위에 올려놓고 태운다. 그것은 재를 쌓아 두는 곳에서 태워야 한다.’

▶ in short, the whole bullock, shall be brought outside the camp to a clean place where the ashes are deposited and there be burned up in a wood fire. At the place of the ash heap, there it must be burned.

|
‘이스라엘의 온 공동체가 실수로 잘못을 저지르고, 모두 그 사실을 알아차리지 못하더라도, 주님이 하지 말라고 명령한 것을 하나라도 하여 죄인이 되었으면,

▶ "If the whole community of Israel inadvertently and without even being aware of it does something that the LORD has forbidden and thus makes itself guilty,

자기들이 저지른 죄를 깨닫는 대로 회중은 황소 한 마리를 속죄 제물로 바쳐야 한다. 그 소를 만남의 천막 앞으로 끌고 오면,

|
|
▶ should it later on become known that the sin was committed, the community shall present a young bull as a sin offering. They shall bring it before the meeting tent,

|
공동체의 원로들이 주님 앞에서 황소의 머리에 손을 얹고 나서, 주님 앞에서 그 황소를 잡는다.

▶ and here, before the LORD, the elders of the community shall lay their hands on the bullock's head. When the bullock has been slaughtered before the LORD,

기름부음 받은 사제는 황소의 피를 얼마쯤 가지고 만남의 천막으로 들어가서,

|
▶ the anointed priest shall bring some of its blood into the meeting tent,
|
|
17
|
손가락에 피를 찍어 주님 앞에, 곧 휘장 앞면에 일곱 번 뿌린다.

|
|
|
▶ and dipping his finger in the blood, he shall sprinkle it seven times before the LORD, toward the veil.

18
|

그러고 나서 황소의 굳기름을 모두 들어내어 제단 위에서 살라 연기로 바친다.

▶ All of its fat he shall take from it and burn on the altar,
|
|

|
속죄 제물로 바치는 황소를 처리하듯 이 황소도 그것과 똑같이 처리해야 한다. 사제가 이렇게 그들을 위하여 속죄 예식을 거행하면 그들은 용서를 받는다.

▶ doing with this bullock just as he did with the other sin-offering bullock. Thus the priest shall make atonement for them, and they will be forgiven.

|
그리고 그는 그 황소를 진영 밖으로 끌어내어, 앞서 말한 황소를 태우는 것처럼 그것을 태운다. 이것이 회중의 속죄 제물이다.’

▶ This bullock must also be brought outside the camp and burned, just as has been prescribed for the other one. This is the sin offering for the community.

‘수장이 실수로, 주 그의 하느님이 하지 말라고 명령한 것을 하나라도 하여 죄를 짓고 죄인이 되었으면,

▶ "Should a prince commit a sin inadvertently by doing one of the things which are forbidden by some commandment of the LORD, his God, and thus become guilty,

자기가 저지른 죄를 깨닫는 대로, 흠 없는 숫염소 한 마리를 예물로 끌고 와서,

|
▶ if later on he learns of the sin he committed, he shall bring as his offering an unblemished male goat.
|
|
24
|
그 숫염소의 머리에 손을 얹은 다음, 번제물을 잡는 곳, 곧 주님 앞에서 그것을 잡는다. 이것은 속죄 제물이다.

|
▶ Having laid his hands on its head, he shall slaughter the goat as a sin offering before the LORD, in the place where the holocausts are slaughtered.
|
|
25
|
사제는 이 속죄 제물의 피를 손가락에 조금 묻혀 번제 제단의 뿔들에 바르고, 나머지 피는 번제 제단 밑바닥에 쏟는다.

|
|
|
|
▶ The priest shall then take some of the blood of the sin offering on his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of holocausts. The rest of the blood he shall pour out at the base of this altar.
|
|

|
그러고 나서 굳기름은 모두, 친교 제물의 굳기름처럼, 제단 위에서 살라 연기로 바친다. 이렇게 사제가 그 죄 때문에 수장을 위하여 속죄 예식을 거행하면, 그는 용서를 받는다.’

▶ All of the fat he shall burn on the altar like the fat of the peace offering. Thus the priest shall make atonement for the prince's sin, and it will be forgiven.

‘나라 백성 가운데 누가 실수로, 주님이 하지 말라고 명령한 것을 하나라도 하여 죄를 짓고 죄인이 되었으면,

▶ "If a private person commits a sin inadvertently by doing one of the things which are forbidden by the commandments of the LORD, and thus becomes guilty,

자기가 저지른 죄를 깨닫는 대로, 그 죄를 용서받기 위하여 흠 없는 암염소 한 마리를 예물로 끌고 와서,

▶ should he later on learn of the sin he committed, he shall bring an unblemished she-goat as the offering for his sin.

|
그 속죄 제물의 머리에 손을 얹은 다음, 번제물을 잡는 곳에서 그 속죄 제물을 잡는다.

|
▶ Having laid his hand on the head of the sin offering, he shall slaughter it at the place of the holocausts.
|

|
사제는 그 피를 손가락에 조금 묻혀 번제 제단의 뿔들에 바르고, 나머지 피는 모두 번제 제단 밑바닥에 쏟는다.

|
그런 다음 친교 제물에서 굳기름을 떼어 내듯 그 굳기름을 모두 떼어 낸다. 그러면 사제는 그것을 살라 주님을 위한 향기로 바친다. 이렇게 사제가 그를 위하여 속죄 예식을 거행하면 그는 용서를 받는다.

▶ All the fat shall be removed, just as the fat is removed from the peace offering, and the priest shall burn it on the altar for an odor pleasing to the LORD. Thus the priest shall make atonement for him, and he will be forgiven.

|
속죄 제물로 양을 바치려면, 흠 없는 암컷을 끌고 와서,

▶ "If, however, for his sin offering he presents a lamb, he shall bring an unblemished female.
|
|
33
|
그 속죄 제물의 머리에 손을 얹은 다음, 번제물을 잡는 곳에서 그것을 잡아 속죄 제물로 삼는다.

|
|
▶ Having laid his hand on its head, he shall slaughter this sin offering in the place where the holocausts are slaughtered.

|
사제는 그 피를 손가락에 조금 묻혀 번제 제단의 뿔들에 바르고, 나머지 피는 모두 제단 밑바닥에 쏟는다.

▶ The priest shall then take some of the blood of the sin offering on his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of holocausts. The rest of the blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar.

|
그런 다음 친교 제물로 바치는 양의 굳기름을 떼어 내듯 그 굳기름을 모두 떼어 낸다. 그러면 사제는 그것을 주님을 위한 화제물과 함께 살라 바친다. 이렇게 사제가 어떤 사람이 지은 죄 때문에 그를 위하여 속죄 예식을 거행하면, 그는 용서를 받는다.’

▶ All the fat shall be removed, just as the fat is removed from the peace-offering lamb, and the priest shall burn it on the altar with the other oblations of the LORD. Thus the priest shall make atonement for the man's sin, and it will be forgiven.
