영을 내리시고 구원을 약속하시다

그런 다음에 나는 모든 사람에게 내 영을 부어 주리라. 그리하여 너희 아들딸들은 예언을 하고 노인들은 꿈을 꾸며 젊은이들은 환시를 보리라.

▶ Then afterward I will pour out my spirit upon all mankind. Your sons and daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions;

그날에 남종들과 여종들에게도 내 영을 부어 주리라.

▶ Even upon the servants and the handmaids, in those days, I will pour out my spirit.

|
내가 하늘과 땅에 징조를 보여 주리니 곧 피와 불과 연기 기둥이다.

▶ And I will work wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood, fire, and columns of smoke;

|
그 크고 두려운 주님의 날이 오기 전에 해는 어둠으로, 달은 피로 바뀌리라.

|
▶ The sun will be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, At the coming of the Day of the LORD, the great and terrible day.

그때에 주님의 이름을 받들어 부르는 이는 모두 구원을 받으리라. 주님께서 말씀하신 대로 시온 산과 예루살렘에는 살아남은 이들이 있고 생존자들 가운데에는 주님께서 부르시는 이들도 있으리라.
