신탁. 이스라엘에 관한 주님의 말씀. 하늘을 펼치시고 땅의 기초를 놓으셨으며 사람 안에 얼을 빚어 넣으신 주님의 말씀이다.

▶ An oracle: the word of the LORD concerning Israel. Thus says the LORD, who spreads out the heavens, lays the foundations of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him:

“보라, 내가 예루살렘을 술잔으로 만들어, 주변의 모든 민족들이 취하여 비틀거리게 하겠다. 예루살렘이 포위 공격을 당할 때에 유다도 그러할 것이다.

|
▶ See, I will make Jerusalem a bowl to stupefy all peoples round about. (Judah will be besieged, even Jerusalem.)

|
그날에 나는 예루살렘을 모든 민족들에게 무거운 돌이 되게 하여, 그것을 들어 올리는 자마다 큰 상처를 입게 하겠다. 세상의 모든 민족들이 예루살렘을 거슬러 모여들 것이다.

▶ On that day I will make Jerusalem a weighty stone for all peoples. All who attempt to lift it shall injure themselves badly, and all the nations of the earth shall be gathered against her.

주님의 말씀이다. 그날에 나는 말들을 모조리 쳐서 놀라게 하고, 말 탄 자를 쳐서 미치게 하겠다. 유다 집안에서는 눈을 떼지 않겠지만, 그 민족들의 말들은 모조리 쳐서 그 눈을 멀게 하겠다.

▶ On that day, says the LORD, I will strike every horse with fright, and its rider with madness. I will strike blind all the horses of the peoples, but upon the house of Judah I will open my eyes,

그러면 유다의 씨족들은 마음속으로, ‘예루살렘 주민들의 힘은 그들의 하느님, 만군의 주님 안에 있구나!’ 하고 생각할 것이다.

|
▶ and the princes of Judah shall say to themselves, "The inhabitants of Jerusalem have their strength in the LORD of hosts, their God."

그날에 나는 유다의 씨족들을 나뭇단 속에서 불붙은 도가니처럼, 곡식 단 속에서 불타는 횃불처럼 만들겠다. 그리하여 그들은 왼쪽과 오른쪽에 있는 주변의 모든 민족들을 삼켜 버릴 것이다. 그러나 예루살렘은 같은 자리에 그대로 남아 있을 것이다.

▶ On that day I will make the princes of Judah like a brazier of fire in the woodland, and like a burning torch among sheaves, and they shall devour right and left all the surrounding peoples; but Jerusalem shall still abide on its own site.

주님은 먼저 유다의 천막들을 구원할 것이다. 그래서 다윗 집안의 영화와 예루살렘 주민들의 영화가 유다보다 더 크지 않을 것이다.

▶ The LORD shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem may not be exalted over Judah.

그날에 주님이 예루살렘 주민들을 보호할 것이다. 그날에 그들 가운데 가장 연약한 이도 다윗처럼 되고, 다윗 집안은 하느님처럼, 곧 그들 앞에 선 주님의 천사처럼 될 것이다.”

▶ On that day, the LORD will shield the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the weakling among them shall be like David on that day, and the house of David godlike, like an angel of the LORD before them.

“그날에 나는 예루살렘을 치러 오는 모든 민족들을 없애 버리고 말겠다.

▶ On that day I will seek the destruction of all nations that come against Jerusalem.
|

|
나는 다윗 집안과 예루살렘 주민들 위에 은총과 자비를 구하는 영을 부어 주겠다. 그리하여 그들은 나를, 곧 자기들이 찌른 이를 바라보며, 외아들을 잃고 곡하듯이 그를 위하여 곡하고, 맏아들을 잃고 슬피 울듯이 그를 위하여 슬피 울 것이다.

▶ I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and petition; and they shall look on him whom they have thrust through, and they shall mourn for him as one mourns for an only son, and they shall grieve over him as one grieves over a first-born.

그날에 므기또 벌판에서 하닷 림몬을 위하여 곡하는 것처럼 예루살렘에서도 곡소리가 크게 울릴 것이다.

▶ On that day the mourning in Jerusalem shall be as great as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the plain of Megiddo.

나라가 곡하고 가족마다 따로따로 곡할 것이다. 다윗 집안의 가족이 따로 곡하고 그들의 여자들도 따로 곡할 것이다. 나탄의 집안이 따로 곡하고 그들의 여자들도 따로 곡할 것이다.

▶ And the land shall mourn, each family apart: the family of the house of David, and their wives; the family of the house of Nathan, and their wives;
