"Speak to the Israelites and tell them: Every man who is afflicted with a chronic flow from his private parts is thereby unclean.

▶ “이스라엘 자손들에게 일러라. 그들에게 이렇게 말하여라. ‘어떤 남자든 그곳에서 고름이 흐를 경우, 그는 그 고름 때문에 부정하게 된다.

Such is his uncleanness from this flow that it makes no difference whether the flow drains off or is blocked up; his uncleanness remains.

|
▶ 고름이 흘러 생기는 부정은 이러하다. 그곳에서 고름이 계속 흐르든, 그곳에서 고름이 더 이상 흐르지 않든 그는 부정하다.

Any bed on which the man afflicted with the flow lies, is unclean, and any piece of furniture on which he sits, is unclean.

▶ 고름을 흘리는 남자가 눕는 잠자리는 모두 부정하게 된다. 그가 앉는 물건도 모두 부정하게 된다.

Anyone who touches his bed shall wash his garments, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.

▶ 그의 잠자리에 몸이 닿는 사람은 옷을 빨고 물로 몸을 씻어야 한다. 그 사람은 저녁때까지 부정하게 된다.

Whoever sits on a piece of furniture on which the afflicted man was sitting, shall wash his garments, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.

▶ 고름을 흘리는 남자가 앉았던 물건에 앉는 이도 옷을 빨고 물로 몸을 씻어야 한다. 그도 저녁때까지 부정하게 된다.

Whoever touches the body of the afflicted man shall wash his garments, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.

▶ 고름을 흘리는 남자의 몸에 닿는 이도 옷을 빨고 물로 몸을 씻어야 한다. 그도 저녁때까지 부정하게 된다.

If the afflicted man spits on a clean man, the latter shall wash his garments, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.

|
▶ 고름을 흘리는 남자가 정결한 이에게 침을 뱉는 경우, 침이 묻는 이도 옷을 빨고 물로 몸을 씻어야 한다. 그도 저녁때까지 부정하게 된다.

Any saddle on which the afflicted man rides, is unclean.

Whoever touches anything that was under him shall be unclean until evening; whoever lifts up any such thing shall wash his garments, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.

▶ 무엇이든 그 남자가 깔고 앉는 것에 몸이 닿는 이는 모두 저녁때까지 부정하게 된다. 그런 물건을 나르는 이도 옷을 빨고 물로 몸을 씻어야 한다. 그는 저녁때까지 부정하게 된다.

Anyone whom the afflicted man touches with unrinsed hands shall wash his garments, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.

▶ 고름을 흘리는 남자가 물로 손을 씻가시지 않고 손을 댄 이는 모두 옷을 빨고 물로 몸을 씻어야 한다. 그들은 저녁때까지 부정하게 된다.

Earthenware touched by the afflicted man shall be broken; and every wooden article shall be rinsed with water.

▶ 고름을 흘리는 남자의 몸이 닿는 옹기그릇은 깨뜨려야 하고, 나무 그릇은 모두 물로 씻가셔야 한다.

"When a man who has been afflicted with a flow becomes free of his affliction, he shall wait seven days for his purification. Then he shall wash his garments and bathe his body in fresh water, and so he will be clean.

▶ 고름을 흘리던 남자의 고름이 멎어 깨끗하게 되면, 정결하게 되기까지 이레 동안 기다렸다가 옷을 빨고 생수로 몸을 씻는다. 그러면 그는 정결하게 된다.

On the eighth day he shall take two turtledoves or two pigeons, and going before the LORD, to the entrance of the meeting tent, he shall give them to the priest,

who shall offer them up, the one as a sin offering and the other as a holocaust. Thus shall the priest make atonement before the LORD for the man's flow.

▶ 사제는 그 가운데에서, 한 마리는 속죄 제물로 한 마리는 번제물로 바친다. 사제는 이렇게, 고름을 흘린 것 때문에 그를 위하여 주님 앞에서 속죄 예식을 거행한다.

"When a man has an emission of seed, he shall bathe his whole body in water and be unclean until evening.

Any piece of cloth or leather with seed on it shall be washed with water and be unclean until evening.

"When a woman has her menstrual flow, she shall be in a state of impurity for seven days. Anyone who touches her shall be unclean until evening.

▶ ‘여자에게서 무엇인가 흐를 경우, 곧 그곳에서 피가 흐를 때에 그 여자는 이레 동안 불결하다. 그 여자의 몸에 닿는 이는 모두 저녁때까지 부정하게 된다.

Anything on which she lies or sits during her impurity shall be unclean.

▶ 그 여자가 불결한 기간에 눕는 자리는 모두 부정하게 된다. 그가 앉는 자리도 모두 부정하게 된다.

But if she is on the bed or on the seat when he touches it, he shall be unclean until evening.

If a man dares to lie with her, he contracts her impurity and shall be unclean for seven days; every bed on which he then lies also becomes unclean.

"When a woman is afflicted with a flow of blood for several days outside her menstrual period, or when her flow continues beyond the ordinary period, as long as she suffers this unclean flow she shall be unclean, just as during her menstrual period.

▶ 어떤 여자가 불결한 기간이 아닌데도 오랫동안 피를 흘리거나, 불결한 기간이 끝났는데도 피를 흘리면, 피를 흘리는 동안 내내 그 여자는 부정하다. 불결한 기간일 때처럼 그 여자는 부정하다.

|
Any bed on which she lies during such a flow becomes unclean, as it would during her menstruation, and any article of furniture on which she sits becomes unclean just as during her menstruation.

▶ 그 여자가 피를 흘리는 기간 동안 눕는 잠자리도 모두, 불결한 기간에 눕는 잠자리처럼 다루어야 한다. 그 여자가 앉는 물건도, 불결한 기간에 부정하듯, 모두 부정하게 된다.

Anyone who touches them becomes unclean; he shall wash his garments, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.

"If she becomes freed from her affliction, she shall wait seven days, and only then is she to be purified.

"You shall warn the Israelites of their uncleanness, lest by defiling my Dwelling, which is in their midst, their uncleanness be the cause of their death.

as well as for the woman who has her menstrual period, or who is afflicted with a chronic flow; the law for male and female; and also for the man who lies with an unclean woman."

▶ 불결한 기간 중에 있는 여자, 몸에 유출이 있는 남자나 여자, 그리고 부정한 상태에 있는 여자와 동침한 남자에 관한 규정이다.’”
