"If someone in presenting a peace offering makes his offering from the herd, he may offer before the LORD either a male or a female animal, but it must be without blemish.
|

▶ ‘친교 제물을 올리는데 소를 잡아 바치려면, 수컷이든 암컷이든 흠 없는 것을 주님 앞에 바쳐야 한다.
|

|
He shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and then slaughter it at the entrance of the meeting tent; but Aaron's sons, the priests, shall splash its blood on the sides of the altar.

▶ 제물을 바치는 이가 자기 예물의 머리에 손을 얹은 다음, 만남의 천막 어귀에서 그것을 잡으면, 아론의 아들인 사제들은 제단을 돌며 거기에 그 피를 뿌린다.

From the peace offering he shall offer as an oblation to the LORD the fatty membrane over the inner organs, and all the fat that adheres to them,

▶ 이 친교 제물 가운데 일부를 주님에게 화제물로 바치는데, 곧 내장을 덮은 굳기름과 내장에 붙은 모든 굳기름,

as well as the two kidneys, with the fat on them near the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which he shall sever above the kidneys.

▶ 두 콩팥과 거기에 있는 허리께의 굳기름, 그리고 콩팥을 떼어 낼 때 함께 떼어 낸 간에 붙은 것이다.

All this Aaron's sons shall then burn on the altar with the holocaust, on the wood over the fire, as a sweet-smelling oblation to the LORD.

▶ 아론의 아들들은 그것들을 제단 위에서, 불에 얹은 장작 위 번제물과 함께 살라 연기로 바친다. 이것은 주님을 위한 향기로운 화제물이다.

▶ 예물로 바치려는 것이 양이면, 예물을 바치는 이는 그것을 주님 앞으로 끌고 와서,

and after laying his hand on the head of his offering, he shall slaughter it before the meeting tent; but Aaron's sons shall splash its blood on the sides of the altar.

As an oblation to the LORD he shall present the fat of the peace offering: the whole fatty tail, which he must sever close to the spine, the fatty membrane over the inner organs, and all the fat that adheres to them,

This shall be a perpetual ordinance for your descendants wherever they may dwell. You shall not partake of any fat or any blood."
