Then the LORD said to Moses,

▶ 주님께서 모세에게 이르셨다.

"On the first day of the first month you shall erect the Dwelling of the meeting tent.
|

|
|
▶ “너는 첫째 달 초하룻날에 성막 곧 만남의 천막을 세워라.
|
|

|
Put the ark of the commandments in it, and screen off the ark with the veil.
|

|
|
|
|
|
▶ 거기에 증언 궤를 놓고 휘장을 쳐서 그 궤를 가려라.
|
|

|
Bring in the table and set it. Then bring in the lampstand and set up the lamps on it.
|

|
|
|
|
▶ 그리고 상을 가져다 차릴 것을 차려 놓고, 등잔대를 가져다 등잔들을 올려놓아라.
|
|

|
Put the golden altar of incense in front of the ark of the commandments, and hang the curtain at the entrance of the Dwelling.

▶ 또 금으로 된 분향 제단을 증언 궤 앞에 놓고, 성막 어귀를 가리는 막을 드리워라.

Put the altar of holocausts in front of the entrance of the Dwelling of the meeting tent.

|
|
▶ 번제 제단은 성막 곧 만남의 천막 어귀에 놓아라.
|
|

|
Place the laver between the meeting tent and the altar, and put water in it.
|

|
|
|
▶ 만남의 천막과 제단 사이에는 물두멍을 놓고 거기에 물을 담아라.
|
|

|
Set up the court round about, and put the curtain at the entrance of the court.
|

|
|
|
▶ 그 둘레에 뜰을 만들고, 뜰 정문에 막을 드리워라.
|
|

|
"Take the anointing oil and anoint the Dwelling and everything in it, consecrating it and all its furnishings, so that it will be sacred.
|

|
|
|
|
▶ 너는 성별 기름을 가져다 성막과 그 안에 있는 모든 것에 그 기름을 부어, 성막과 거기에 딸린 모든 기물을 성별하여라. 그러면 성막이 거룩하게 될 것이다.

Anoint the altar of holocausts and all its appurtenances, consecrating it, so that it will be most sacred.

|
▶ 번제 제단과 거기에 딸린 모든 기물에 기름을 부어 제단을 성별하여라. 그러면 제단이 가장 거룩한 것이 될 것이다.

Likewise, anoint the laver with its base, and thus consecrate it.
|

▶ 또 물두멍과 그 받침에 기름을 부어 그것을 성별하여라.
|

"Then bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the meeting tent, and there wash them with water.
|

|
▶ 너는 아론과 그의 아들들을 만남의 천막 어귀로 데려다가, 그들을 물로 씻겨라.
|

|
Clothe Aaron with the sacred vestments and anoint him, thus consecrating him as my priest.
|

|
|
|
|
▶ 그런 다음 아론에게 거룩한 옷을 입히고 그에게 기름을 부어 그를 성별하여, 사제로서 나를 섬기게 하여라.

|
Bring forward his sons also, and clothe them with the tunics.
|
성경 ▼
|
|
|
|
|
▶ 또 그의 아들들을 데려다 저고리를 입혀라.
|
|
15
|
As you have anointed their father, anoint them also as my priests. Thus, by being anointed, shall they receive a perpetual priesthood throughout all future generations."

|
|
▶ 그리고 네가 그들의 아버지에게 기름을 부은 것처럼 그들에게도 기름을 부어, 사제로서 나를 섬기게 하여라. 그들은 기름부음을 받음으로써 대대로 영원한 사제직을 맡게 될 것이다.”

Moses did exactly as the LORD had commanded him.

On the first day of the first month of the second year the Dwelling was erected.
|

|

|
▶ 마침내 둘째 해 첫째 달 초하룻날에 성막이 세워졌다.
|
|

|
It was Moses who erected the Dwelling. He placed its pedestals, set up its boards, put in its bars, and set up its columns.

|
|
▶ 모세는 성막을 세우는데, 먼저 밑받침을 놓은 다음 널빤지를 맞추고 가로다지를 끼운 뒤, 기둥을 세웠다.

He spread the tent over the Dwelling and put the covering on top of the tent, as the LORD had commanded him.
|

|
|
▶ 또 성막 위로 천막을 치고 천막 덮개를 그 위에 씌웠다. 이는 주님께서 모세에게 명령하신 대로였다.

|
He took the commandments and put them in the ark; he placed poles alongside the ark and set the propitiatory upon it.

▶ 그런 다음 증언판을 가져다 궤 안에 놓았다. 그 궤에 채를 끼우고 궤 위에 속죄판을 덮었다.

He brought the ark into the Dwelling and hung the curtain veil, thus screening off the ark of the commandments, as the LORD had commanded him.

▶ 또 궤를 성막 안에 들여놓고 칸막이 휘장을 쳐서 증언 궤를 가렸다. 이는 주님께서 모세에게 명령하신 대로였다.

He put the table in the meeting tent, on the north side of the Dwelling, outside the veil,

▶ 그는 만남의 천막 안, 성막의 북쪽 면, 휘장 바깥에 상을 놓았다.

and arranged the bread on it before the LORD, as the LORD had commanded him.
|

▶ 상 위에는 주님께 바치는 빵을 가지런히 차려 놓았다. 이는 주님께서 모세에게 명령하신 대로였다.

|
He placed the lampstand in the meeting tent, opposite the table, on the south side of the Dwelling,

▶ 만남의 천막 안, 상 맞은쪽, 곧 성막의 남쪽 면에 등잔대를 놓고,

and he set up the lamps before the LORD, as the LORD had commanded him.

▶ 주님 앞에 등잔들을 올려놓았다. 이는 주님께서 모세에게 명령하신 대로였다.

He placed the golden altar in the meeting tent, in front of the veil,

▶ 또 금으로 된 제단을 만남의 천막 안, 휘장 앞에 놓고,

and on it he burned fragrant incense, as the LORD had commanded him.
|

▶ 그 위에 향기로운 향을 피웠다. 이는 주님께서 명령하신 대로였다.

He hung the curtain at the entrance of the Dwelling.
|

|
|
|
|
▶ 그리고 성막 어귀에 막을 드리웠다.
|

He put the altar of holocausts in front of the entrance of the Dwelling of the meeting tent, and offered holocausts and cereal offerings on it, as the LORD had commanded him.
|

|
|
|
|
|
▶ 그런 다음 성막 곧 만남의 천막 어귀에 번제 제단을 놓고, 그 위에서 번제물과 곡식 제물을 바쳤다. 이는 주님께서 모세에게 명령하신 대로였다.

He placed the laver between the meeting tent and the altar, and put water in it for washing.

▶ 그러고는 만남의 천막과 제단 사이에 물두멍을 놓고, 거기에 씻을 물을 담았다.

|
Moses and Aaron and his sons used to wash their hands and feet there,
|

|
▶ 모세와 아론과 그의 아들들이 그 물로 손과 발을 씻었는데,
|
|

|
for they washed themselves whenever they went into the meeting tent or approached the altar, as the LORD had commanded Moses.
|

|
|
▶ 만남의 천막에 들어갈 때와 제단에 가까이 나아갈 때마다 씻었다. 이는 주님께서 모세에게 명령하신 대로였다.

|
Finally, he set up the court around the Dwelling and the altar and hung the curtain at the entrance of the court. Thus Moses finished all the work.

▶ 그는 또 성막과 제단 둘레에 뜰을 만들고, 뜰 정문에 막을 드리웠다. 이렇게 하여 모세는 일을 마쳤다.

God's Presence in the Dwelling

|
Then the cloud covered the meeting tent, and the glory of the LORD filled the Dwelling.

▶ 그때에 구름이 만남의 천막을 덮고 주님의 영광이 성막에 가득 찼다.

|
Moses could not enter the meeting tent, because the cloud settled down upon it and the glory of the LORD filled the Dwelling.

|
|
▶ 모세는 만남의 천막 안으로 들어갈 수 없었다. 구름이 그 천막 위에 자리 잡고 주님의 영광이 성막에 가득 차 있었기 때문이다.

Whenever the cloud rose from the Dwelling, the Israelites would set out on their journey.
|

|
|
▶ 이스라엘 자손들은 그 모든 여정 중에, 구름이 성막에서 올라갈 때마다 길을 떠났다.
|
|

|
But if the cloud did not lift, they would not go forward; only when it lifted did they go forward.
|

|
|
|
|
|
▶ 그러나 구름이 올라가지 않으면, 그 구름이 올라가는 날까지 떠나지 않았다.
|
|

|
In the daytime the cloud of the LORD was seen over the Dwelling; whereas at night, fire was seen in the cloud by the whole house of Israel in all the stages of their journey.

▶ 그 모든 여정 중에 이스라엘의 온 집안이 보는 앞에서, 낮에는 주님의 구름이 성막 위에 있고, 밤에는 불이 그 구름 가운데에 자리를 잡았다.
